I bought these cargo trousers a few weeks before I realised that I’m trans, last year (6th Jan, 2024), in a subconscious way of addressing my dysphoria. I didn’t know how much they would help me! They’re baggy, they make my legs look long, they’re grungey but comfortable. I love them!

I’ve tried to customise them over time: patches, chain, badges. I’m scared to customise them too much though: I don’t wanna fuck them up. But they look so fun with each addition, I should just do what I like despite the uncertainty.

There’s a metaphor in that. Probably.
