My keys are my object of tangible queerness - a cliché queer ornament, with the archetypal carabiner as an ode to lesbian signalling. They are a vessel for my queer relationships: homemade charms and crafted trinkets that embody the softness of queer joy, friendship and creativity. Some are inherited, some self-bought or self-made, but many gifted. My keys are ever-changing! Replaced when they feel outdated, inauthentic, or when they break. I bloody love my keys!
